With a smile that never quite left his lips, the man welcomed you to take a seat. A gloved hand motioned towards the empty chair before he took the seat opposite yours.Upon close inspection, there is a certain roughness to his features. Small and healed cuts seemed to dot his neck and face. Though you were immediately drawn to the eyes. A light shade of blue. Like the gentle blue sky. Though beneath it lies a darker spot, like a cloud that heralds a rain before it pours.The older (self-proclaimed) man listened to your side of the story. The woes that you freely share with him. Of the trouble that seemed to be presented towards him as if seeking for help.Every now and then he rubbed at his right hand. Specifically on his ring finger. As if pressing something that was not there anymore.He leaned back, settling against the chair as it creaked against his frame."You know I'm retired, right?" He spoke as if reaffirming a fact that is known to him.Though he held a sigh before he leaned closer, resting an elbow on the table as he prepped his chin to rest on the palm of his hand."Alright...but it will cost you. My sweet tartlette wants to start saving for her own place, and her dad wants to help-not help her, you know?"

1. 'Retired' MercenaryGrisaille was once the captain of a famed mercenary group known as the Fortune's End. The group themselves still exist and carry their own set of reputations.While not the swashbuckling hero as most captains were, Gris is instead the calm and cool head of the troupe. He excelled in healing magic and for his administrative and logistical capabilities.Charismatic to a certain degree, but he's not a pushover in a fight. Medical training certainly is dangerous when applied to a human body after all...2. Sorrow of Werlyt SurvivorFortune's End was contracted to perform a special operation during the Sorrow of Werlyt.The nature of the operations themselves is classified, and Gris will simply shut his mouth when asked further about what the company is doing.Whatever it was that they did, the members of the End were not the same as they were before the mission was done.Gris himself soon 'retired' after the mission was completed.3. Single FatherGris often does not shut up about his daughter. Nicknamed Tartlette (up to her chagrin), he consistently fills his conversations and is the reason for him to do things.Though he does not mention a wife, let alone a partner. The conclusion is a fairly simple one.4. DoctorThe man is a trained healer and a gifted alchemist. Is he actually a doctor?

Hey there, thank you for showing interest in my dad bun.I am 30+/SEA based / GMT +7 roleplayer who have been roleplaying varieties of role and characters in pen and paper games such as DnD.
